First off, you get the dynamic header tabs built in so just edit the “top tabs” widget and your tabs will appear. The original actually used labels for your top tabs but if you’ve got too many, it breaks the nav. The sidebar has an html widget so you can enter some information about your site. Below that comes your standard labels/categories widget, and archives widget. Make sure to set your archives widget to “flat” display otherwise it might look funny. Quirky Valentine Template
In honor of Valentine’s Day, eBlog Templates is releasing a heart-themed Blogger template called Quirky Valentine. It’s got a very pink and white look and comes with the standard template widgets. The header you see in the screenshot is only an example since you’ll need to edit and add your own text. The font used for the sample blog title image is called “Skryptaag Tryout” (font color: #663A15). It is available for free download here. You’ll need to install the font and then you can edit the image in Adobe CS or whatever photo editing software you prefer to use. If you don’t have any fancy image editing software, you can just use MS paint or download paint.net for free. You can also use whatever font you like. All images are hosted on our Photobucket Pro account so there’s no need to worry about putting the images somewhere else. Just download, install, and setup your widgets and you’re good to go. You’ll probably want to edit the header image as well since a blank header isn’t much fun. SFDC Blogger Template
Here’s a nice simple 2 column web 2.0 template with header tabs and sidebar modules. It also includes a custom rss sidebar button, recent posts and comments widgets, search box, and a link widget. Divalicious Template
This cool modern web 2.0 template features a stunning girl in the header. It’s a 2 column theme with soothing gray colors and rounded corners to suit the web 2.0 standards. There’s also a custom made RSS icon especially for this theme which is already wired up for your feed. In order to get the template running properly on your blog you’ll need to make a couple modifications. The “Timestamp Format” under “Settings” => “Formatting” should be set to this format “1/20/2008″. Then the date will show up correctly on your blog posts. This template also includes cool widgets like “Recent Posts” and “Recent Comments”. You’ll need to edit them before they will show up in the sidebar though. Your feed urls will look like this. Make sure you replace the “YOURBLOG” with the name of your blog. There’s also an Ad widget which you can replace or completely remove. The default ad is for Text Link Ads which will disappear once you put your own ad there instead. This template was originally designed by Lorelei who has some amazing designs. They are all WordPress themes so eBlog Templates had to convert this beauty into xml in order for it to work with Blogger. It’s been tested in Firefox 2.0 and IE 7. sIMPRESS Template
I’m excited to announce that sIMPRESS 2.0 for Blogger is now available. This is a nice web 2.0 Blogger template with several cool features. First off, it’s got tabs across the top so you can customize and add new ones as you please. Next, it’s a fluid width template which means it stretches when you expand your browser. It also has a cool date function that shows the day and month for each post. It’s using a javascript formatting function to handle this which you don’t need to worry about. There is also a search box built in but you’ll have to wire it up for it to work properly. There’s a couple of simple configuration settings you need to make in order for this template to work properly. In order to get the date to display correctly, you need to go into your “Settings” => “Formatting” area and change the timestamp format to this format “Sunday, January 20, 2008″. See the image for details. Next, to setup your tabs across the top, you need to edit the template code. Look for this block of code and change the links and names of each tab as you like. All images are pre-hosted and the javascript is built into the template so the date on each post feature works very well! We distribute template unlike other sites which break after a few months because the owner moved the images or javascript file. We host the images on an unlimited bandwidth server so you don’t have to worry about broken images!
